We use state of the art Document Scanning equipment from Kodak. This allows us to scan at speeds of up to 80 pages per minute!
We can provide scanning for any volume of paper files, which we then convert into digital documents quickly and efficiently.
How our Document Scanning Service works
Documents are prepped and prepared prior to scanning for suitability. Factors, such as their physical state (thin paper, creased, stapled etc) and the attributes of the information (black & white, colour etc) are noted. Then, the scanning requirement is adjusted accordingly.
All scanned images can either be supplied on a disk or imported into a document management system. We do advise if it is a small number of scans then the preferred form is CD. This is so that we can get approx. 40,000 pages of information per CD.
Once the images are ready for indexing, we accurately index the documents as per your requirements. Once completed we will then burn off the images to a pre-agreed media.
What if Something goes Wrong?
Don’t worry! All scanned data is backed up on any storage facility and remains live and active for a period of 30 days. After this period, a backup CD-ROM can be made and stored for disaster recovery purposes.
