Why do I need offsite document storage?

There are several reasons why businesses choose Secure Offsite Document Storage for their archives:

How will my documents be stored?

The barcoded boxes are kept on barcoded shelves within our modern warehouse. By labelling everything in this detailed way, we can easily retrieve documents when you want them. In short, we know exactly where every document is.

Your documents will be closely monitored through controlled access. Furthermore, they are protected by intruder and fire alarms, as well as CCTV.

Are individual files accessible?

Yes, you can request to see an archive box or an individual file from within the box. Every document that you send us is given a barcode which stays with the file for its entire lifetime. This allows us to have an audit trail and track its movement for the entire time that it remains with us.

We can then either deliver this individual file to you or scan it and email or fax it to you; whichever you prefer.

Will you deliver my documents?

Absolutely! We provide a flexible delivery service. Our next day delivery service is available at no extra charge or same day delivery can be arranged at an extra cost.

If you would prefer we can scan your document and send it to you either by email or fax.

How quickly can I retrieve my files?
We usually provide files to you on the day after you request them. However, if you need to access your files urgently, we can arrange same-day delivery for an extra charge.

We can send you documents electronically or by fax if you prefer.

Will you pick up my archive storage?
Yes, we can pick up your archives from any location that you choose within our service area.

We can work with you to pick up on regular, scheduled dates or as one off collection as and when you need it.

When you book with us we can provide you with archive boxes which you can use to pack your files and documentation. We will collect the filled boxes on a day that you specify.

Which areas do you cover?
UK Archive is based in Essex. Our primary service area includes London, Essex, Suffolk, Kent and surrounding areas, although please contact us should you be out of this area as were happy to arrange collection of your documents across the whole of the UK.
